"Listened to me and treated me with kindness"

About: Maternity care (Ward 31) / Early Pregnancy Assessment Service

(as a service user),

I have recently used Early Pregnancy Service in Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley. I have a complex history with pregnancy loss which means scans make me very anxious. 

All of the staff I dealt with listened to my history with care and compassion and treated me with such kindness.  The care I have received has been excellent.

Staff I spoke to included screening midwife, sonographers, midwives and student midwives.  All recognised my past difficult times and provided clear and evidence-based care and kind words. 

I would like to thank all the staff and hope their approach is recognised for its value - it has made a huge difference to my journey & mental health in this pregnancy.
