On Thursday night, I began to experience excruciating pain in my side/ tummy area. The pain was spreading so I had no choice but to be driven to A+E. The wait was extremely long, especially in such discomfort, however that was to be expected. I am now situated in 4 south and medication has kept the pain at bay. Appendicitis was ruled out so the doctors are still unsure was is causing the pain. I feel very content in 4 south as the staff are attentive and approachable. The only issue I have is the stifling heat and noise at night time, I appreciate that these things are not easy controlled but something could definitely be done about the temperature as it restricts patients sleep. Other than this, I couldn’t complain.
