"Perfect example of how caring is healing"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Surgical Assessment Unit

(as the patient),

I was admitted to Forth Valley Ward B 12 for a few days with a serious infection. The whole medical and care team was great, so quick and perceptive and clear about treatment.

But I really want to shout out Denise on the ward as a perfect example of how caring is healing. She attended to gravely ill patients, one with a terminal diagnosis, with such perfect and intuitive compassion and understanding of what and who they needed in the moment, at some truly rough times, and I could see their spirits literally lifting. Keep her.

Thanks Denise, and thank you, NHS.

I cannot thank you enough for taking the time to post on care opinion. It fills me with pride to read that my staff are giving excellent care.

Denise is an excellent asset to my team and is is always professional bringing some fun in her care when appropriate.
