"I'm now feeling a little more positive"

About: Six Degrees Social Enterprise (CIC) / Greater Manchester Bereavement Service

(as a service user),

I lost my husband in December 2022, who was the love of my life, soulmate, best friend and my confidence. It was sudden with no signs and I witnessed it.

I was at first suicidal then in shock and left with severe grief, waking up shaking and anxious. Every week a  member of staff rang and in a way it was like a little bit of therapy over the phone. I now have a therapist once a week with their help, I can't thank this service enough.

I have still got a way to go but I'm now feeling a little more positive about stepping in to this new world without my husband.
