I attended J25 (Ophthalmology) St James Hospital in Leeds today for day surgery. I want to commended the medical and nursing staff who treated and looked after me. I was nervous about this appointment, being 82 years young (!), but felt so reassured by the teams professionalism, compassion, care and good humour! One doctor was so kind as to place a pillow under my legs as my back was hurting, this really helped me and was a distraction from the procedure l had done.
I am so grateful for everything you did for me and feel you need recognition for it.
