Anything else?
After being placed on the waiting list for braces with a view to having jaw surgery and meeting with the surgeons, I was told that there would be a 12 month wait. Well after that 12 months we rang, and were told that we shouldn't have been told that and tat it is likely for another 12-18 moth wait. So again, after 18 months not hearing anything, we rang, only to be told, yet again that it is likely to be another 12 month wait. Well we're getting close to that 12 month mark too. I wonder what I'm going to hear this time. Getting beyond a joke really. I have been waiting over 3 years now. Was originally told I would hopefully have my surgery by the end of 2013. That's not going to happen is it, seeing as I have to have braces for 18months-2 years. You should not be giving out time frames if you are not going to stick to them. Cannot see it taking 3 years to get to top of waiting list. Just to add, I am now 20 (in 5 days) and was first told about this potential surgery when I was 13. Looks like I'm going to be into my 20's before I get my surgery. If I get it. Losing all faith in the Dental Hospital now.
"Constantly being told...another 12 months."
