"A very special thank you"

While attending Queen Margaret Hospital today I was a bag of nerves. However, the staff members who looked after me ensured I was looked after in the best possible care. I really do think that they should be acknowledged for giving 5 star care and not rushing me when I was talking and just giving me the time to get my emotions out and understand everything about my care and surgery. 

A very special thank you to the very kind and patient nurse Rachael who had to ensure I was ready to go first and looked after me. The surgeon who was utterly brilliant, kind and who I didn’t feel was in a rush to see other patients Rachael. Aileen (didn’t get her surname in recovery) what a kind lady who reassured me, held my hand and and had the kindest eyes, what you need after you wake up. Karen Williams who took over my care from Racheal, thank you for being there to listen to me and remind me to be kind to myself. You positive smile and energy is contagious and I felt very lucky to have you. Finally to John and his team (2 others) his mannerisms really are next level. He explained everything to a nervous wreck and calmed me down. All of these doctors and nurses have been phenomenal and I feel truly lucky to be in such fantastic care. I do hope they get recognition for the work they did for me today. Without them my experience today could have been totally different. Thank you to all of you for everything you did for me. I truly appreciate it.
