"My wife was a cancer patient also she has a disability."

About: St Bartholomew's Hospital / Palliative medicine Tower Hamlets Community Health Services / Rehab Reablement

(as a carer),

I am a carer of my wife who has a disability.

She has been diagnosed a cancer in June- July 2022. As she was struggling about her condition and then again been diagnosed cancer she was really fallen apart.

We met at the Royal London Hospital a lady called Debora (Deby)  from McMillan Cancer, she was very helpful and Nicola their team.

Nicola help us with housing, benefits, GP, and Debit management which are some of them yet not completely settled.

I believe that Nicola is Ambassador to families like us.

Thank you for your kind words. It means a lot to us to see that you use the word 'ambassador' when you describe the work that Nichola carried out for your family.

It is really important to us that the patient and the family are at the heart of the support we offer.
