(as a parent/guardian),

Fabulous staff on Caroline Thorpe. Every member of staff we encountered were incredible! My daughter was well looked after and I felt full trust in the doctors & nurses. The play leader Fran and teaching assistant were also instrumental in keeping my daughter distracted from her pain. The Sodexo staff were also very efficient and helpful too. 

Special mention to Jess our night shift nurse, Fran the play leader. Abi, the medical student who was extremely thorough and friendly. And the wonderful student nurse looking after us in the day. 

Everyone was remarkable. We are so lucky to have an incredible team available to look after our children, if ever needed, in North Devon. Thank you

Hello SammE88,

Thank you for posting your experience of the care that you experienced on Caroline Thorpe Ward. It is so important that you can trust and feel safe when you and your child are so vulnerable. It is a standard of care that we strive to always achieve. When someone takes the time to thank us for our care I feel it is important that the staff realise that the care that they give is so important. I will ensure that your comments will be relayed to the staff and those particularly which you have mentioned in your post.
