I feel that the care and support that I receive at Overmills Day Service is right for me. I think the staff are all very nice if I need anything they are always willing to help.

I always get to choose what activities I want to do on the day. Due to a decline in my eyesight I sometimes struggle however staff support me whenever I need a bit of assistance enabling me to take part and join in with my peers. I enjoy all the activities that are on offer to me.

I am happy with the transport service provided – it collects me and brings me home. If I didn’t have this, I would not be able to attend. The drivers and escorts are all very nice.

The centre itself is well kept; it is always clean and tidy with plenty of room to move about.

I have had issues with my swallowing and now have my meals blended, they are always presented well and I enjoy what I have. There is a good variety of food that I can eat now that I have that option.

I feel that Overmills is a well-run service and I enjoy attending. I never want to miss a day. I have made many new friends also met up with people that I have not seen in years. I feel coming to Overmills lifts my mood and gives me something to look forward to.

Thank you for your positive comments about your experiences at Overmills. It is lovely to hear that the staff are responsive in supporting you to achieve your potential.

There are many barriers that prevent people getting out independently and I am pleased that you value our transport service and that it is enabling you to follow your interests and establish new friendships, these are important factors in improving mood and appears to be working for you personally.
