I had a 5 night stay in Ward 16 back in December, and although the induction process didn’t go to plan & I ended up having a C-section both myself and my husband can’t fault the care that we received during our time on the ward. Special thanks to Abbie who was our midwife for the birth of our baby girl and who looked after us back on the ward after my c-section. You were so kind to us and made us feel so at ease, we feel so lucky to have had someone so supportive there & nothing was too much trouble for you. Thank you so much Abbie for everything. Ps Thanks again for my birthday cake 😊😂
I was quite anxious throughout my whole pregnancy due to having health conditions which meant I was classed as a high risk pregnancy. I had a lot of scans/appointments which was always very nerve racking however I can honestly say that everyone that I came into contact with during my pregnancy were amazing and so reassuring, nothing was ever too much trouble for anyone. Some weeks I was over at the hospital 2/3 times but nobody ever made me feel like I was being a pain. All of the midwife’s, doctors and consultants were always happy to answer any questions and worries I had. Our consultant Dr Mackenzie also deserves a mention as she was amazing right from the first appointment I had with her when I was 10 weeks pregnant she made me feel so at ease.
Thank you all so much.
