About: Outpatients / Ear, nose and throat (ENT)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

We have come up today to see Mr Leyden the ENT consultant for an appointment with my son.

He is such a lovely man. He makes you feel so welcome. He has a very warm and compassionate way about him. He is very productive, we are waiting on my son getting an ear test done at the moment. He is very thorough.

The hospital is lovely and clean from the minute you walk through the main doors.

My only gripe is the parking situation round daisy hill. It’s a nightmare to get a space.

Everything else has been excellent. Lovely staff and a lovely hospital.

Thank you for posting about your hospital experience we do welcome all feedback to help us improve the service we offer.

I wish to apologise for the difficulties you experienced parking on the hospital site and the distress this caused you. The hospital site is extremely busy and the Trust recognises that parking can be challenging for service users, visitors and staff. Car parking provision is increased where needs are identified and funding resources are available. The Trust employs a parking enforcement company to protect disabled spaces, emergency routes, drop off points and other designated areas on the site to assist with car parking and traffic management.

I will pass your positive feedback regarding the cleanliness of the hospital to the Domestic Services Team.
