"Waiting times"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a relative),

I’ve accompanied my mum to the fracture clinic at RCH 4 times in total and have dreaded all but the first one. The waiting times are utterly ridiculous. 2 hours at a time. The parking is £6 per time and the fuel to get there however much. It’s simply not good enough.

The nurses call you in and apologise for the wait but, they are just words. I rush home from work to support mum mum and waste my time because of the state of this awful hospital. I have missed appointments myself because of the time we have to wait to be seen being hours later than the appointment time. We always arrive on time yet always have to wait for hours.
