"Chronic Pain Clinic"

About: Wrightington Hospital

After waiting for eight months I arrived 15mins early for my appointment. After waiting nearly 30mins from my app.time I approached a nurse to enquire how long I would be waiting.

I found her to be off-hand and unfriendly. Without any apology she told me I would be next after she called a gentleman in, who had only arrived 15 mins earlier.

I was eventually called in exactly 1 hour from my appoint. time and still no apology from staff. Due to waiting so long I had become extremely anxious and frustrated.

The doctors I saw were excellent; understanding, empathetic and approachable. What a pity not all members of the team were not and basically ruined my first experience to the Chronic Pain Clinic.
