"Being able to stay at home whilst being support by the hospital"

About: Virtual Wards / Frailty Virtual Ward

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I had follow up with the virtual ward and they gave me confidence with dealing with my condition at home, I developed another infection and they looked after me superbly whilst in the comfort of my own home, it stopped me from going back into hospital. It was really comforting to have such friendly telephone calls to check I was doing okay. Its really reassuring to be able to have a direct number I could call if I needed to, it gives you a lot of confidence.

Thank you for lovely feedback about the care you received on our virtual ward. I am so pleased you felt reassured and safe to remain at home and that you managed avoid a hospital admission.

I will feedback your comments to the team, but thankyou for spending the time writing your recent experience being cared for on our virtual ward.
