"As a first time mum I really appreciated this level of personal care"

Good morning,

I am emailing to express fantastic care that I received in Bassetlaw hospital back in February.

I was a first time expectant mum and on arriving at the labour ward things started to happen very quickly. Throughout the whole process Ellie was absolutely fantastic. She reassured me when she could see that I was unsure what was happening or going to happen. My babies heart rate started to drop which required intervention by other members of the team who were also fantastic. Again during this time she was able to tell how scared I was and constantly reassured and explained what I would need to do. All of this meant that our beautiful baby girl was born safe and sound.

After the initial labour she helped me bathe and made sure any questions were answered before moving us to the postnatal ward. She even came to see us as she was walking through the next day.

As a first time mum I really appreciated this level of personal care and felt nothing was too much trouble.

Please could this be passed on to Ellie for me please.
