I arrived via ambulance on blue lights at lunchtime. The paramedics told me exactly what to expect and they were spot on. I was greeted by the A&E team, who despite being under pressure from all corners, were kind, polite, efficient and ‘to the point’. Each of them knowing their role and fulfilling it to the max.
I was monitored and cared for in A&E for approx 11hrs before being allocated a bed. All the while being constantly told how my condition was being treated and what was happening. They also took the time to inform my wife of proceedings as well.
As requested, no names will be mentioned but if you were on the a&E team on st Valentine’s Day afternoon, working away on my AF, then I thank you with all my heart (which is still working) if you were on the team then I hope this finds its way to you because you deserve it. An extension of this thanks also goes out to the paramedics before the event and the aftercare received after A&E in the CCU. Many thanks to you all.
