"Seamless cardiac care"

About: General practices in Fife Queen Margaret Hospital / Cardiology Queen Margaret Hospital / Community Rehab Service Queen Margaret Hospital / Rheumatology Queen Margaret Hospital / Urology Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Cardiology & Coronary Care Unit Victoria Hospital / Cardiology Victoria Hospital / Radiology Victoria Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

I am a Non-smoking for 55yrs, Non Drinking for 11years, Little Salt, Minimal Sugar, BMI 25, Exercise 'like a bear' kinda guy, Low Stress and Working, 10K Steps a day for at least 5 from 7, No Great cardio genetics historical issues, but The Reaper sought me out!  Honest!

In September I contracted Covid19 and was fully able to access ScotGov online info/ tell my Employer and NHS.  [I felt awful/ 70% norm]
Two weeks later I contracted an infection that brought Urosepsis until treated with I.V. antibiotics .
I then suffered an Acute M.I. that saw me into the Victoria, Kirkcaldy cardiac unit for initial treatments and analysis.  [I felt rum/ 70%norm]  Shortly afterwards I was transferred to the Edinburgh Royal where I.V. antibios x2 and further Cardiac analysis and treatments were ongoing. [I felt good] and  I was then analysed in the Cardiac Lab and stented. [I felt better].
I was able to leave hospital after 9days intense and caring, careful treatment.
I have since seen my Doctors Surgery Reception for all manner of communications, the Pharmacist to organise my 8week rolling Medicines, the Practice Nurse for discussion and Bloods samples and  the Rheumatology Nurse on to discuss my ongoing immunology.  I also saw the doctor and trainee on to discuss 'bloods' and return to work and medicines and C19 imminent booster, the  Cardiac Nurse on to discuss my new cardiac circumstances and Return to Work and a Private Physio to alleviate my long-term Spinal and Pelvic issues.  I spoke to
NHS24 about my latest Urinary Infection and to analyse and supply urgent antibiotic and liaise on to my Doctor, and saw the Cardiac Physio to discuss exercise and fitness testing.

Additionally I have seen the Phlebotomist to take Rheumatic, Cardiac and Prostate bloods, attended the Urology Clinic at QMH Fife  for Urinary and Prostate Consultant overview of all necessary health matters and Urgent Referrals, and seen Urology Consultant and Team on at VHK Fife for Cystoscopy analysis, the Radiographer Team  at VHK Fife for Urology MRI analysis, and the NHS Cardiac Gym team at Carnegie SC, Dunfermline for health analysis and tests and to commence an 8week rehabilitation program.
I am thankful, and knowing, that I have received the very best of care from all the NHS Scotland Practitioners and Professionals.  Absolutely cared for without a doubt.  They are a secure, skilled, superlative workforce.
If I lived in another Country then I might not be here and, probably, my care would have been less than seamless.
Be as Positive as you can be.  We have it All.  XxX
