"Fantastic care given to me by a caring Team"

About: Vale of Leven General Hospital / Surgical Day Bed Unit

(as a service user),

Surgical Day Bed unit at Vale of Leven.

I want to thank  all the nursing staff at DSU Vale of Leven for the extremely high care you gave to me while in your unit plus the rest of the patients.

Communication was great, staff reassured me constantly and above all a truly patient centre care approach was given to each of us in the unit.

The staff were friendly, smiling, welcoming and nothing was a bother to them. Even having to stay by their finishing time. 

Thank you for the amazing care you have provided me and for the great care I witnessed you gave to the others.

My anxieties were reduced by the caring nature of all the staff from within pre-assessment, DSU and  theatre staff.

A fantastic team who provide care and compassion throughout my stay - thank you

Thank you very much for your very kind and positive feedback. We value any feedback we receive, if it's not so good we will do all we can to make it better, if it's positive we will do all we can to maintain this level of care.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide such positive feedback, we do appreciate it and it does give the team a good feeling knowing we have made a patients' journey for surgery a positive one.
