I was brought in by ambulance from Westmorland General with extremely high blood pressure. I was triaged quickly and then had a brain scan. I was the taken to a cubicle and during the next few hours had various tests, medication to try to lower my blood pressure, and the scan results. At all times the staff were courteous
and caring, including bringing a cup of tea both for my daughter-in-law and myself. I was visited by two doctors who explained the problem which was preventing me from being discharged. Finally the doctors were happy and I was able to leave, at ten past ten. I should like to express my particular thanks to Dr Julia Marshall for taking the time to talk to me and explain the problems. I was delighted with my care.
"Excellent Care"
