"Positive Homebirth"

Hi, I'd like to take this opportunity to leave some very positive feedback about the homebirth team. It was absolutely magical to be able to birth my baby at home, particularly as a first time mum and the team I had made it possible. Thank you to the 4 midwives who attended who were Kyla and Meg during the day and Stacey and Megan from 5:00 pm until gone midnight. Extra special thank yous to Stacey and Megan who were there for the birth. I particularly appreciate the essential oil blends that Stacey brought which were a great help when I transitioned and Megan being qualified to suture at home so I didn't need to attend hospital.

Stacey and Megan are an absolute credit to the NHS and to midwifery and were exactly the support I needed during tough moments. I'm a week post partum and still on cloud nine after my little boy was birthed in the pool surrounded by everyone's love and my home comforts. Being able to go upstairs to my own bed after birthing my baby was the cherry on the top! Please continue to facilitate mum's to have this choice in Doncaster and Bassetlaw - the homebirth time is absolutely vital and I'd like to see it continually staffed so that mum's can use it if they want.
