I wanted to say thank you to Linda, operational lead for oral health at NHS GGC Health Board based at the Glasgow Dental Hospital. Linda was allocated a complaint I made to the health board about the length of time it had taken to allocate me to a clinician and Linda called me and was so helpful and kind and we worked together to get a resolution which resulted in an appointment being allocated to me to start my treatment for my TMJ disorder & wisdom tooth extractions. The complaints team were also very helpful in processing my complaint and getting it resolved within five days which resulted in this being resolved quickly and to my satisfaction rather than conducting an investigation into a matter which wasn't necessary and would've been resource-intensive in processing a complaint as a stage two.
Thank you to Linda for her person-centred approach and for keeping my best interests in mind along with the complaints team, it is much appreciated and I have had a very positive experience with the complaint procedure on this occasion and I am very grateful! :)
