About: Forth Valley Community Services / Stroke Transition & Rehabilitation Team (START)

(as the patient),

I was discharged from hospital in December following a stroke. I received visits from Jen and Evelyn from the START team to help with my recovery. Their patience and understanding were great at getting me motivated but even on days when l felt too tired to do anything they would listen to my concerns and reassure me. Thanks to them l am now able to get in and out of the shower with assistance and feel that l can still improve.
