We wanted to say a massive thankyou to the maternity team at Doncaster. From triage to M1 to the delivery suite all staff were amazing, going above and beyond at every step despite being stretched to their limits throughout the whole time we were there!
My waters broke at 36 weeks and from the moment we arrived we were informed of what would and could happen, I was admitted straight away and the staff monitored myself and baby on M1 right up to handing us over to the delivery suite at the end of January!
My induction began and the midwife Karen was absolutely phenomenal, kept me calm and at ease no matter what came up throughout the labour. She was calm, collected and beyond professional!
We literally cannot thank her enough for getting baby - “lord” as she nicknamed him - here safely! In the early hours he made his entrance into the world!
So this is us trying in anyway to show our appreciation to Karen and the whole team at Doncaster! Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou!
