"The care I received"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Accident and emergency Pilgrim Hospital / Endoscopy Pilgrim Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

Called 111 at the end of December, who suggested that A&E was the best place for me to receive the care I needed.  I arrived in A&E and my care started. I have a complex medical condition, but luckily my consultant was around.  I had a emergency endoscopy, and a 4 night stay.

Everyone I came into contact with went above and beyond to help me, even though they was rushed off there feet.  They always had time to chat to me when needed. The housekeeping team on 1b was amazing always stopped to chat with me.

I cannot fault the care I received during my stay. So thank you to everyone
