"Medical care excellent!"

Arrived nervous about surgery - soon felt in very capable hands! Admiration for all staff increased over my five day stay! A good experience!

-> Medical care excellent! Doctors and nurses took time to answer my questions.

-> All staff introduced themselves as they came into my room, were cheerful, nothing was too much trouble.

-> Bathroom facilities very clean.

-> My room and the Ward 2 was on at first, were nicely heated - not too overpowering.

-> When I walked along the corridor for exercise I enjoyed chatting with the staff. 

-> My temperature, blood pressure, blood sugar taken regularly - which was very reassuring. 

-> Regular updates why my going home was delayed (for further tests).

-> Meals and hot drink provided regularly and good quality. When I could only swallow soft food, the nurse found more fruit in syrup for me. 

-> Only negatives, some of the clocks had the wrong date on them and my bed was only re-made once - but I only say this to balance this feedback.

-> Beautiful views of the Scottish countryside from my windows - very soothing.
