"Treated with respect, kindness and genuine warmth"

About: End of life care / Marie Curie nursing Fife Community Services / District Nursing General practices in Fife

(as a relative),

My Dad received the most wonderful end of life care, enabling us to keep him at home until he passed away, as he and we as his family wished. We couldn't have managed this without the amazing and compassionate care of the carers, district nurses and Marie Curie nurses who all assisted us in my Dad's final weeks.

We were provided with all the equipment and help that we could possibly need, ensuring that my Dad was comfortable at all times. He was treated with respect, kindness and genuine warmth, and we will always be grateful for that.

My heartfelt thanks to everyone who made it possible for us to share Dad's final weeks in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his family.

A special thank you to the nurses from Bennochy Surgery in Kirkcaldy, the Marie Curie Nurses from Glenrothes and his wonderful carers Joy and Jill.
