I was taken to A&E by my wife on the advice from our doctors surgery beginning of December PM and was processed by the amazing staff at the Accident and Emergency department. Without their kind words and amazing professionalism I would still be fighting the age old man knows better syndrome and not back to almost 100% health.
I was admitted that evening and given the required care, treatments and medication to aid my recovery. It was rough at times however, all the NHS staff I came into contact with made it a lot easier for someone who has never been admitted to hospital at the ripe old age of 55.
I would personally like to thank the staff of the Clinical Assessment Unit and ward B32 for the care and attention given which resulted in an earlier than usual discharge due to my health improvement.
However, I would specifically like to make a huge call out and thank you to the following Accident and Emergency staff:
Hannah (didn't get her surname) - Triage Nurse - who was so kind, caring and efficient in her work.
Scott - Nurse - who took all vitals' and kept me laughing with his positivity.
Dr. Mo - A&E doctor - without his caring, thorough and professional manner topped up with his light hearted but informative way I would have left the hospital that night vowing to take paracetamol and I dread to think what condition I would be in today if I had.
Debbie (didn't get her surname) - Clinical Assessment Unit - kept me laughing, informed and cared for until a bed was made available.
I cannot thank you enough for my continued recovery.
"Amazing treatment"
