Anything else?
Was very worried from stories regarding cleanliness, standard of food and poor quality of staff in Hospitals. I was on ward 7 and not only did the ward look and smelt clean but cleaning staff were constantly cleaning and emptying bins. The food was of a very high standard and the ladies who dealt with the serving of food, and drinks made sure you had plenty to eat and drink and always with a smile. Doctors: Were polite and helpful they explained why and what treatment you were going to receive. Nurses: All were of the highest standard were compassionate, helpful, polite and friendly. I would like to make a special mention of the Student Nurses all were as above and went out of their way to give extra help to the elderly patients they always had a smile on their faces and found time for a quick chat. British Nurses are renowned to be the Best in The World and these Student Nurses will ensure that this will continue in the future.
