"Blue badge parking at Monklands hospital"

About: University Hospital Monklands

(as a carer),

I take my mum for essential treatment at Monklands hospital twice a week every two weeks. This week we have been there four times for extra appointments.

The car park for people with blue badges is too small for their needs. The situation is aggravated by indiscriminate parking due to the overall pressure on parking.

I spoke to a staff member who said there is nothing can be done as it’s not a regulated area.

It’s very frustrating and distressing for my mum or to be able to park safely and quickly to access her treatment.
