"Excellent Responsive Care from the Dermatology Team"

My GP referred me to Derriford Hospital Dermatology team with suspected skin cancer; this was a 2 week referral so I was very concerned.

Within a week I received an appointment date and within 2 weeks I was meeting the Consultant Dermatologist.

From booking in on arrival to being seen by Dr Walker, the whole team were excellent; a thorough examination, explanation and information offered me reassurance.

Whilst the diagnosis remains uncertain, I have a follow up appointment and feel very confident in the care I’m receiving.

A concern I had 2 weeks later was swiftly dealt with by the medical secretary’s, who relayed information to Dr Walker on my behalf.

Within 4 hrs images I provided had been reviewed and a response provided.

I can’t thank the team enough for the support they are providing. The department is also extremely clean and very easy to navigate that’s to information and signposting.
