Anything else?
I have been attending the outpatients orthopaedic clinic for a little short of a year, on my last appointment I was told that a chielectomy would possibly be helpful, fine however I was given about 30 seconds to decide if that was what I wanted I felt rushed into a saying yes, I was handed a pre op booklet and brief explanation of the procedure and shown the door. I now have no idea how long I should expect to wait (I realise it will probably be months not weeks), or what kind of anaesthetic is used as really do not! Want a local as this is my worst fear. The nurse was lovely but I felt that the Dr was talking at me not too me, so now really not sure what to.
