(as the patient),

After a 16 day stay in hospital for an infection I was delighted to hear I could be discharged and could continue my IV antibiotics with the District Nursing team in my local health centre.

When I met the team I found them all to be friendly, knowledgeable & caring, answering any questions I had and when issues arose with my PICC line is was sorted quickly and professionally.

The care I received was 100% and I can't thank them enough for their kindness without them I may have had a longer stay in hospital.

The District Nursing Team is a great asset to our service and strive to provide high standards of care to their patients and families.
