I attended this afternoon and Dr Kaloglian, Lisa, Hilary and Judith were all very friendly and attentive. However I was very startled to find the amount of questioning that they were obliged to deliver prior to treatment.
Much of it felt totally unnecessary and repetitive and gave the impression that it was all designed to ensure that no criticism whatsoever could ever be levelled at the NHS or its hospital. I have had many Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC) excised in the past in various hospitals but there was never this level of bureaucracy involved which seemed to me to be wasting a great deal of these ladies' time. I now understand why the NHS has such a backlog!
My treatment was entirely satisfactory and I am delighted to be rid of these unsightly growths.
