My dad was in Henderson ward for four and a half months. I have great admiration for all of the staff. My dad didn't want to leave as everyone was so friendly and caring. They really fought his corner with consultants and saw dad as a whole person not a set of medical symptoms. The staff always had time to explain things to me on the phone which was very reassuring as I live 200 miles away and cannot travel much. They involved him in his treatment as much as possible and treated him with respect. A very professional and caring staff who seem to work well together.
