Anything else?
After recently being referred to an eye clinic by my optician I found myself attending an appointment for a cararact assessment. I only found out I had a cataract in March and was told it was very small and possibly not the cause of my sudden blurred vision. My visit to the Mandeville ward was very well organised and I was made aware I may have a long wait. The nurses were very helpful and polite. The dr I saw at my appointment (didn't catch his name ) was very quiet and began examining my eyes with no explanation as to what he was doing. He then proceeded to try and put eye drops in my eyes without telling me what he was doing or what they were for until i asked him. obviously I was nervous and apprehensive but I felt no empathy and a lack of consultation from this dr. I now am waiting for an appointment to have my cataract removed but no explanation for the sudden onset of blurred vision which the optician felt was not the cause.
