I would thoroughly recommend the gynaecology department at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. I waited a few weeks for an appointment following referral by my GP and was seen by an excellent registrar doctor who took a lot of time to assess my condition and talk through the three treatment options on offer with me. The recommendation for treatment was made on the basis of what I wanted and what I felt fitted in with my life at the moment - a departure from the usual "Dr knows best" style that I have encountered at other hospitals. I was very impressed.
