What I liked
i was recently in queens for 5 days. i was admitted on Monday with gallstones after ariving at 2pm with severe abdominal pain i was given a trolley in majors at 10.30pm only to be told that there would not be a ward bed available until the morning!
6am i was transferred to Cornflower b ward and can say that the staff were kind, caring and proffesional. The ward was clean and my bed was changed every day ;o)
I think this hospital has had a lot of bad reviews as we all knew it would but i honestly believe that its the lack of staff and beds on wards that is the only problem they have. I was in maternity last year and my daughter was admitted for 1 night in tropical lagoon and i can say that each time the staff were outstanding ;o)
What could be improved
Bigger waiting rooms, larger wards and more staff ;o)
