Anything else?
My father is 90 years old with dementia and other age-related problems and has to have a bile duct stent examined / replaced every 12 months.. He was admitted to ward F1 ( short stay ) prior to his ERCP with prof. Martin and stayed ion F1 the night before and the night after the ERCP procedure. I stayed with him during his time in hospital as he needs to see a 'familiar face'. The quality of nursing care that he received in ward F1 was exemplary. I could not fault it at any time. My observations whilst I was there was that the nursing staff do a wonderful job in the ward , and it is obvious that they are under-staffed in the daytime as they are work virtually non-stop. In particular , the ward Sister has a complex management task in this ward , and does seem to be overworked. The ERCP procedure in Radiology with Professor Martin was trouble-free as in previous years - just highly skilled and excellent as always. All in all I am very happy with my elderly father's care and treatment at UHSM ( Wythenshawe ) and could really not ask for any better nursing or medical treatment.
"Fantastic nursing care and fist class medical..."
