Anything else?
admitted yet again to the ward,2nd time now, in great pain, nurses wonderful as usual but the doctors just dont want to know. Sent home in the same pain I was admitted with, told that I would just have to live with it. Wonder if they would say the same to their loved ones. Met lots of patients that I had met the week before who had to be readmitted just like me. Sent home with morphine ,strong painkillers. After my discharge sat in the waiting room for my lift home, vomiting with the pain, dazed by my morphine, so cruel of them. Its like a business, one in/one out but they are not saving anything as most of us have to be readmitted again. Left 2 ladies on the ward crying as the same was happening to them. None of us were well enough to go home. Its a disgrace feel like telling the government that Im not paying anymorenational insurance, have paid for 46 years, when I need them the help is not there. I understand the NHS is in crisis but these discharged patients are going back to casualty hence clogging up an already in crisis department. Something needs to be done as its inhumane sending patients home in the condition they arrived in. Its a cruel and distressing experience.
"and the saga goes on"
