Excellent service at the ENT clinic today. Was called into my appointment exactly on time and out within 15 minute . Doctor was excellent - articulate and explained everything. Only 2 negative comments - not sure how the elderly would cope with the Self-check-in process as it was a bit fiddly and not enough machines ( only 2). The number was only displayed very briefly on the overhead screen. Also, the screen asked if any details needed to be amended such as address etc. which we ticked but it did not give us the facility to do so. We mentioned to the ENT receptionist and hopefully she has now amended the address - we moved over 3 years ago. This is a little worrying as the appointment was within the 2 week cancer referral and we did not receive an appointment letter - just a phone call. Who is responsible for updating patient details on the hospital system? Could be why patients DNA their appointments.
