My husband cut his arm at work on Tuesday morning. As Manor is closest to work he attended a&e. he had a 2inch gaping glass cut. After filing out a form he was told to take a seat, he was then called by triage and had to fill in another form. When he was eventually called into a&e he was told he should be treated by Badger healthcare? After waiting further to see them they said he needed stitches as the cut was too deep to glue. My husband was then told that he would need to wait for someone to come on shift that was trained to stitch ! and they should have stitched him in a & e. He was then sat back in the waiting area for someone trained to stitch. What on earth is going on here when there is no one on hand to stitch cuts? Never again.
