"Absolutely appalling"

Anything else?

Persistent failure to administer blood tests, medication and dietary supplements; resulting in patient admission to A & E. Confinement of voluntary patient to ward without explanation. Losing original blood test results and attempting to claim that the results were never lost. Evidence of falsifying records to suggest that medication was given when it was not. Lying to relatives to the effect that therapy was being undertaken when it wasn't. Locking a patient out of their bedroom without reason. Failing to inform relatives of the admission to A & E; thus leaving a minor alone in hospital with neither of her legal guardians present- while also telling said minor that her relatives knew where she was even though we were not informed of her whereabouts until 7 hours later. Shockingly poor, practically inedible food- staff members attempting to interrogate a patient's relatives on the content of an official complaint, putting a patient's life at risk by failing to administer essential dietary supplements over a period of 3 weeks. The list goes on and on. The staff are incapable and more than happy to lie and/or blame patients and threatening to section a voluntary patient for wishing to leave,or if relatives removed her themselves, even though departure is essential in order to preserve the patient's safety from neglect and abuse on the ward. In all honesty; I would not wish this hospital on my worst enemy- let alone a child.

The Priory take complaints against the quality of its services very seriously. The points made in this review are currently being thoroughly investigated.
