I found out yesterday that someone had noted me down as having sciatica. I hadn't complained of it at all. My only problem was a foot injury that I got when I had a fall in the ward. I have never had sciatica. There's no wonder I received no treatment for my injured foot and now I'm left needing a walking aide. The doctors never told me nor did the staff. I was just left dragging my painful foot along. It was nothing like sciatica. They chattered amongst themselves but not to me as the patient.

I am 77 and before this injury I was extremely active. I was doing Zumba, I went swimming and I used to ride my bicycle. I've been left with a bad disability and my quality of life has been hugely affected. Surely it was obvious it was nothing like sciatica? It's taken me 5 months to get this information as I was unable to get to the surgery and enquire. I am a former nurse so I do have a good understanding of health matters.
