I had to have my first ever general anaesthetic and operation at over 40 years old. I was quite nervous as I didn't know what to expect. All the staff, from the receptionist, to the nurses, to the anaesthetists etc made me feel very at ease. The hospital is very clean without having that horrible 'hospital' smell I remember from visiting as a child. I felt as though nothing was too much trouble. If it wasn't for the fact I had an operation, I would say I enjoyed my stay! I would choose to go back there if I ever need an operation in the future.
