I have been under the care of the neurology department ever since I found out I had epilepsy last August. This was obviously a horrible surprise for me, but throughout this time I have received excellent care. My appointments are never rushed, and things are always explained to me so that I can understand and be involved in decisions about my medication etc. I have been given contact details for my neurologist and epilepsy nurse, and encouraged to call or email if I have any problems. They are also polite and funny whenever I see them at my consultations.
