About: West Middlesex University Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

The childrens diabetic unit was Briliant, supportive and responsive.

What could be improved

Now I am 18 had to transfer to the adult Diabetic Clinic and my experience of West Mid drastically changed. After initial consultation in July 07 I asked about insulin pumps and was told could discuss at next appointment and they needed to see me in 2 months time. NOW 8 months later still waiting for an appointment after the hospital cancelled last two appointments. Receiption unhepful. The hospital could be improved by offering the primary care required by Diabetics as I feel my health and long term controls have been severly affectd by WestMids failures

The Trust is pleased to hear your very positive comments about our children's diabetic unit. We are keen to investigate the specific issues you have raised. We have an excellent PALS (patient advice and liaison service) who would be happy to hear from you. Email pals.service@wmuh.nhs.uk or call 020 8321 6261.
