"GP always makes me cry!"

I have attended this GP for 3 years and they are not very nice! Both GP's manner with patients- it's as if they want you to leave as quickly as possible, they focus purely on the cost of the treatment and make you feel very small.

I went in one day hoping to assert myself and get the treatment that I know works for me, I work myself as a nurse and know that a patients involvement and cooperation makes for a good recovery. So I asked if I could take a certain medication and the response was 'you're a know it all aren't you' and made me feel very bad about asking for something I know works! I felt like saying- well yes I do know it all for a condition I have lived with for over 15 years- I know exactly what makes me feels worse! The doctor then went on to prescribe me medication that I did not even have symptoms for... Got home and wait... BNF told me exactly what price he was aiming for once again!

I feel very nervous about coming to this surgery and try not to as much as I can! ! ! !
