Everything about my Wrightington hip replacement journey has been first class.
Just had check up 14 month after total hip replacement near the start of April 2012. Appointment time 9. 15, X-ray and appointment completed. Sat in restaurant finishing off a full English breakfast by 10.
2 hour walk along Canal to Wigan Pier, lunch 2 hour walk back. Could not do that pre op.
Mr Nagai carried out my operation. He assured me he would do a good job, he most definitely did.
I followed all his instructions. It's a two way process, Mr Nagai's skill and my hard work.
It paid off, not only do I have my walking boots back on round the Cumbrian fells, was back cycling 5 month after op.
My new hip is amazing. I cannot praise Mr Nagai's work enough. Not only do I have my life back but I have myself back.
No pain, fantastic movement, I could not be happier.
Thanks to everyone at Wrightington Hospital, you are all outstanding.
