"Grateful for care on emergency admission"

About: East Surrey Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

In May of this year I was admitted to East Surrey Hospital in a lot of abdominal pain. I spent hours in A&E until I was diagnosed with gallstones, pancreatitis and jaundice. I suffered a great amount of pain even with the painkillers I was given, but I recovered and am back home now.

I have taken notice of the excellent job that all the staff did on the ward where I was staying. I admire them for the level of care they gave, in what must be a demanding and stressful job.

I am very grateful they looked after me so well.
